pokémon champions finally released last week! for those who are unaware, champions is the first pokémon game ever to be focused entirely on competitive battling. while i'm not the most experienced competitive pokémon player, i was very excited for this game - leading up to its release, i spent hours laddering on pokémon scarlet, i watched every speculation video i could find, and about a week ago, the game finally released!
i've never really been one to make goals for the year... i feel like, in previous years, i've always gotten a little depressed around this time? feeling like i haven't really changed or improved in an entire year, or worse, that i wasted that year, is, expectedly, kind of a bummer! but, looking back on 2025, it feels like... i have progressed? huh?? how'd that happen???
